The company's predecessor, Wuxi Electric Furnace Factory, was established in 1954. By the early 1990s, it had grown into one of China's top four electric furnace production bases and was a direct subsidiary under the Ministry of Mechanical Industry, establishing its initial prominence in the industry.

Following the successful formation of the Wuxi Wanli Electric Furnace joint venture in 1993, which broke one billion yuan in sales, the company restructured in 2003 into a shareholding system. This move established Wuxi Electric Furnace Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary, marking a shift to a modernized management model.

In 2010, the company relocated to a new 33,000-square-meter facility in Hudai Industrial Park, complying with a municipal urbanization policy. This was followed in 2017 by an equity reform that streamlined ownership and significantly boosted decision-making and operational efficiency.

Looking ahead, the company will found Wuxi Jizhou Technology Co., Ltd. in 2025, a specialized foreign trade entity dedicated to expanding international exports and global market presence.
